Welcome to St John’s website where you will get an insight of what our school is like. Take an online tour of the school and then come and see us!
St John's is a happy, hardworking and successful school community. Our aim is to create a positive learning environment where the children are at the heart of everything we do, with a strong Christian ethos and the highest expectations of behaviour and attainment. We offer a 'village school' atmosphere, with all the benefits of the town's facilities. With a total allocation of 149 places we currently have about 103 pupils on roll, taught in four classes.
Christian values lie at the heart of our school life as we nurture the potential of every child. We are proud that all our pupils benefit from individual attention. We work in partnership with you, the child's family, to ensure that every child thrives.
Our school has a warm, friendly, family-feel that we all value. We know our children extremely well and treat them with respect. Children do very well here and are appropriately supported and challenged, through high quality teaching, so that they can make good progress.
Please don’t just take my word for it! I am always proud to show guests around our wonderful school. Please contact the office if you would like to come and see us.
